Cookie Policy
Cookies and browser storage used by Music OS, and how you choose
1. Sign-in cookie (always on)
When you sign in, the site stores a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is strictly necessary for the service and needs no consent.
We use no advertising or profiling cookies and no social network tracking pixels.
2. Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)
If you click "Accept" in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to count visits and see which parts of Music OS are used: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate country and some actions (sign-up, sign-in, search, contact export, upgrade to PRO).
Cookies set: _ga and _ga_<ID>, lasting up to 2 years. Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address. Advertising features are off: the data is not used to show you ads.
Google may also process the data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
If you reject, or do not answer, Google Analytics is not loaded and no data is sent to Google.
3. How you choose and change your mind
On your first visit the banner asks whether you accept analytics. "Accept" and "Reject" carry the same weight; closing the banner with the X counts as a rejection.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are deleted.
Your choice stays in your browser storage (musicos_consent): a yes lasts 12 months, and after a no you are not asked again for 6 months. We also ask again if this policy changes in a meaningful way.
As proof of consent we record every choice anonymously: a random code created in your browser, the choice, the policy version, the language and the date. We record no IP address and no account.
4. Browser storage (localStorage)
Kept on your device: your language, your cookie choice, some interface preferences and the contacts saved in the Campaign Tracker with your notes. This data is not sent to our servers.
5. Fonts, payments and external sites
Fonts are served directly by our site: showing them does not contact Google or any other provider.
PRO payments happen on Systeme.io, and links to the websites of the organizations shown in results open third-party sites: those sites use their own cookies, covered by their own policies.
6. How to delete them
You can delete cookies and localStorage from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge: Privacy / Site data). Deleting them signs you out, removes the contacts saved locally in the tracker, and the banner will ask for your choice again.
