Record labels accepting demos: where to send your music
A demo works when it reaches the right label, one that releases your genre, in the way the label asks to receive it. Label OS by Music OS searches independent labels by genre and country and shows you the A&R email or demo submission link, with the page each contact was taken from.
What Label OS does
Pick a genre and a country. Music OS looks for labels releasing that kind of music, reads their “demo” or “contact” pages and returns the details it can verify.
Many labels do not publish an email and ask you to use a form or a submission platform: in that case Music OS shows you that link directly. If you already know a label’s name, on the PRO plan you can look it up by name.
How to send a demo to a label
- Listen to the label’s latest releases: if your track does not sound like part of the family, it is unlikely to be considered.
- Follow their instructions: many labels state the format, platform or kind of link they want.
- Send a private streaming link, not heavy attachments, and say whether the track is unreleased.
- Introduce yourself in a few lines: who you are, what you are offering, any concrete results (releases, shows, real numbers).
- One label at a time, with a message written for it: mass emails are spotted immediately.

Try Label OS freeFrequently asked questions
Do the labels found really accept demos?
Music OS shows the contacts and submission links labels publish, with the source. Rules can change: always check the label’s page before sending.
Can I look up a label I already know?
Yes: on the PRO plan you type the label’s name and Music OS finds its contacts and demo link.
Big labels or independent ones?
For artists starting out, independent labels in their genre are usually easier to reach: they listen to more demos and release emerging artists.
Does Music OS send demos for me?
No: Music OS finds the contacts and prepares the email, but you send it, so every message stays personal.
